PRINCESS CHARLENE OF MONACO

WHO IS PRINCESS CHARLENE?

Monaco is a small city-state on the French Riviera. The second smallest country in the world, it’s a proud country that boasts beautiful landscapes and a famous royal family.

Most people know about Monaco’s royal family because of the one and only Grace Kelly. Grace Kelly made headlines in the 50s when she married Prince Ranier of Monaco and became an American princess.

While the players may have changed since the 1950s, the royal family in Monaco is still going strong. Charlene, who married into royalty, was actually born in Zimbabwe and relocated to South Africa early in her life.

Long before she was a princess, the beautiful, statuesque blonde was an accomplished Olympic-level swimmer.

She was a multiple medal winner at the 1999 All-Africa Games in Johannesburg and the South African Commonwealth Games. Her South African women’s 4×100 m medley team also finished fifth in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

She was slated to compete in the 2008 Olympics but didn’t quite qualify for the event. She retired from serious competitive swimming shortly thereafter, but still participates in work with other athletes.

She first met Prince Albert – Grace Kelly’s son – at a swimming meet in Monaco in the year 2000. After a long courtship, the couple married in July 2011. It was then that she was granted the title “Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco.”

The media has reported that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks since it began. It appears, however, to only be speculation. The couple has three children together and remains happily married.

Morocco is a highly traditional country that is firmly rooted in tradition. Located in Northern Africa, it is known for its deserts, mazelike medina, and old-fashioned Arabic ideals. Its royal family, however, is starting to shake things up and bring Morocco into a more inclusive modern era.

Salma Bennani was born in Fes and was the daughter of working-class parents. Her mother died when she was just three years old, which led to a somewhat rough childhood.

Luckily, it all worked out for the beautiful, book-smart redhead. She went on to become the valedictorian at a top engineering school and eventually earned a degree in mathematical sciences.

While at school she attended a party, just like most college students do. It was there that she supposedly met Mohammed VI of Morocco.

While she went on to work as an engineer for a brief time before announcing her engagement to King Mohammed VI. After getting married, she became Princess Lalla Salma, as “Lalla” is a royal title in this region of Africa.
